What are Alternative Procurements (ALTPs)?

ALTPs are specialized or exceptional situations that support the deviation from the regular procurement processes.

What are ALTP Awards?

ALTP awards are the award information for contracts that were awarded using Alternative Procurement Circumstances.  They are posted on the Nova Scotia Procurement Web Portal in accordance with the requirements in the Canada Free Trade Agreement.

What are ALTP Circumstances?

ALTP Circumstances are the reasons for why a procurement wouldn’t go through a tendering process which are aligned with trade agreement exemptions.
